FAQ
Q. Where are you based?
A. We’re based in Mackay, Queensland, but we're happy to travel!Q. Do you both take photos?
A. Yes! Working together means we don’t miss a moment .Q. Do you backup your work?
A. Definitely! We both immediately back up the photos to multiple hard drives. But always encourage clients to backup their USB’s up as well, or even better get your photos printed!
Q. Do you shoot full day wedding coverage?
A. Definitely! That's all we do. We want to get your whole wedding day. So when we come, We will be there for the full day. That doesn’t mean 24 hours, but it means that we always aim to capture all the moments as they actually happen, NO mock cake cutting or first dance!
Q. What if I'm awkward in front of the camera?
A. Our approach is relaxed and unobtrusive, to capture honest moments rather than too many set up shots. During the portrait part of the day we will offer some guidance to make you feel as comfortable as possibly while utilising the best light at that time.
Q. Are you the right photographers for us?
A. Good question. Be sure to have a good look through our website and blog and see if you love our style and the way we capture a wedding day. We take a documentary approach, keeping things relaxed and real, trying to be as unobtrusive as possible. We're all about natural light and creativity.
Q. We would really like you to shoot our wedding, how do we secure our date?
A. Awesome! We’d love to be a part of your day. To lock us in we require a non-refundable booking fee and a completed contract.
Q. How many photos will we receive and when will they be ready?
A. Within 6-8 weeks of your wedding we will post you, your USB of high resolution images, all edited and unwatermarked, in a jpeg format.
Q. Do we need to feed you on the day?
A. Yes please! A full day on our feet, taking photos is hard work. We would be super appreciative if you could provide us both with a meal at your reception.
Q. What your cost?
A. Our base package is $5000.
Q. What equipment do you use?
A. We each shoot with a Nikon D750 digital SLR and a collection of our favourite prime lenses; 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, 100mm, plus a 70-200mm. We both have 3 cameras each, so we're prepared for anything!
